The family appartment (4 persons) is big and quite comfortable, good for the short visit to Rome, when you come to the appartment just to sleep.
Tv was not functioning, and it had taken two days to fix it. The information of the room equipment and services in the internet is not correct. There was no aircondition, coffee is served only for breakfast, tea - up to 12 am. There was no hair dryer, the staff bought it upon request on the second day. Maybe all this was only with my appartment.
Best location ever, friendly staff, brilliant rooms with artistic design comfy and felt really safe..we stayed at mocha room for 3 days I'll surely be back here and recommend it to my family and friends..i want to thank imelda and Harry for taking good care of us while where there..=)
The rooms were wonderful. Very well decorated. Continental breakfast was served in the room and was huge compared to all others we had. It was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location (5 mins max from entrance to Vatican Museums) was awesome. We had a lovely stay.
Only down side was the bed was not comfortable (could feel all the springs). Aside from that, it was exactly what we were looking for. Great for the price.
First night, the purple room was comfortable and everything I needed. The location close to the vatican city was great.
I missed or my first nights accommodation due to train strikes in italy. After my third night I was told I was being moved to another room which was inconvenient and I was told rather than asked. I was taken to the new room which had not yet been cleaned from the previous occupant. I made a mark on the sheets, when I returned later in the day, the bed was made with a new top sheet but the bottom sheet had not been changed. I mentioned it to the manager who called the employee, and then made me talk to the employee who assured me it had been changed, but I knew it hadn't because of the mark. The manager just said "i don't know who to believe, the bottom sheet might not be new but these top ones look new" and that was it. There was no internet reception in the new room, no air con, the toilet ran and the hot water wasn't as good. The lack of action by the staff and particularly the owner not believing me was appalling and my stay went from great to appalling. I would not recommend this to anyone now.
The apartment was above our expectations. It was a very large 2 bedroom apartment. Extremely modern and absolutely lovely. Would recommend to everyone and would definetly come back and stay here again. The breakfast was very nice and the staff were very very friendly and helpful. Walking distance from Vatican city is very helpful.
I liked everything...
Very friendly and personable Staff, rooms look gorgeous and are very spacious and lofty. We even had a very elegant terrace patio! Breakfast included in am was great and brought right to our room. Would highly recommend and right near Vatican city. Staff reply to emails promptly.
Staff was very friendly but slightly unorganized ( maybe due to extenuating circumstances). Queen/ king bed was well decorated but not the most comfortable ( could feel the springs)
The location was excellent, only 2 min walk to Vatican museum entrance. Very spacious apartments for 4. Quite generous continental breakfast. Friendly staff. Nice decor. Breakfast to rooms- I loved it!
Breakfast served at least 30min later than ordered. The towels were not changed in 5 nights stay, but there were plenty of them in cupboards anyway. The door lock for apartment for 4 was difficult to unlock.Interenet didn't work and there was no chance to contact the owner even after we complaint about it to the staff.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Well positioned for sight seeing Buses and entrance to the Vatican. Enjoyed breakfast on the terrace amongst an array of plants. All in all a very enjoyable stay. Owner is constantly maintaining the rooms to a high standard.
A small fridge in room would have been useful although the kitchen fridge was available, not much room for large bottles of water. Needed every day as the temp kept on rising. A small map would be useful to locate hotel and local amenities.
The staff were really lovely and accomodating, great location for seeing the city. Right near Vatican museums and great location for tourist bus, near metro station an easy to get around Rome there! Free to come and go as you please (with your own key), secure and areas surrounding nice
Don't book if you want a place to stay with space, relaxation or spending time in your accomodation. It is really just a top floor apartment converted into a couple of rooms, with a shared kitchen. There is also some problems with the drainage- our bathroom was a little smelly when we first arrived but was okay eventually
Perfect place to stay in Rome, the owners of this b&b, Imelda and her husband are the perfect hosts. Wonderful breakfast, very nice room in the perfect location (near everything!). We felt like home!
Amazing servise, nice breakfast, all the crew was very kind
Good staff, nice rooms and place is just close to the Vatican yard (piezza) calm area and the stuff and owner were very helpful for the information about Roma and how to transport.
B&b hotel good location but no sign for the hotel. The owner was good with us but he when we asked him that we need another night he didn't make good arrangment so we changed the hotel in the last night.
The rooms are nicely done, the continental breakfast is good and it is located very close to the Vatican.
The hotel was difficult to find, especially at night with no light over the entrance, and the only signage being small and hand-written. We arrived late and had to phone the owner to book us in. Ons gets the feeling that the b&b was created with a lot of excitement and energy, but that most of that energy has now dissipated. Although the Booked.net description says that reception is available, that is not so: the only time we saw staff was at breakfast. There is no real reception. The room safe was broken but was replaced by day 2 of our stay. I was unable to connect to the WiFi for our whole stay at the b&b.
It is 2 minutes from the Vatican.
It took us one hour to locate the location. No signage outside or in the block makes it very difficult to locate. It is very much rooms in a apartment on the fifth floor.
It's a good location, if you want to visit Vatican Museums, just 2 minutes to the entrance, and another 10-15 mins to S.Pietra. It is also could be good as an overnight option in historical center of Rome with a car rental and a parking nearby (there is a parking Mercato Vaticani in just two blocks). Personnel is friendly enough and English speaking.
Not easy to find - no sign on the door or whatsoever. Overpriced. Breakfast is served in rooms, often delayed. No minibar in the rooms. However, buffet breakfast and minibar are mentioned in estate description. Rooms are too noisy - and not because of the street sounds (which are also present), but mainly because of the plumbing and sanitary equipment. Constant problems with the lock downstairs. The elevator is not going to the very last floor, which could be a problem, if you have lots of luggage. Attic rooms are cold. Mocha room had a slight sewer odor. Wi-Fi is not working properly. The owner tends to switch rooms voluntary between guests (which is most annoying).
